Deadline Extended: Enter the 2026 Roads & Bridges Top 10 Road and Bridge Awards

Project teams now have until Sept. 18 to submit their work for national recognition

There is still a chance to enter the 2026 Roads & Bridges Top 10 Road and Bridge Awards!

Roads & Bridges has extended the deadline to submit projects to Sept. 18. Applications can be submitted here.

DOTs, agencies, contractors, engineering firms and project teams are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to earn recognition for the hard work, innovation and collaboration that went into building a successful project.

Winners will be featured in the November/December issue of Roads & Bridges, with the first-place road and bridge projects featured on the front cover. Winning projects will also be highlighted throughout the year in additional articles and newsletters, giving teams an opportunity to keep their projects in the spotlight long after construction is complete.

Projects are judged based on their design, use of available technology, uniqueness, level of improvement over existing infrastructure, ability of the project team to overcome obstacles, and collaboration with stakeholders and community.

Eligible projects must have been completed or reached the final phase of construction within the past 14 months. Submissions should represent the entire project, rather than a single phase, and must be completed in their entirety before the deadline. Road construction projects that include work on multiple bridges should be entered in the road category.

The most successful submissions tell the full story of a project, highlighting the challenges faced, solutions developed and benefits delivered to the community and road users. Entries should include several photos showing the projects throughout construction and after completion.

With the deadline extended, project teams still have time to put their work forward for consideration.

Submit your project by Sept. 18 for a chance to be named one of the 2026 Roads & Bridges Top 10 Road and Bridge Award winners.
