A Tier II Perkins 84-hp naturally aspirated engine incorporates advanced technology and design to provide the power and low-end torque required of the most demanding jobs. The hydraulic-control system on the MT 732 has been improved, providing easy use and productivity on all hydraulic functions. The new Load Placing System joystick controls feature dual-linked joysticks providing both lift-and-place construction controls and agricultural-style loader controls on the same machine. In addition, the directional control of the transmission is integrated into the joystick, allowing single-hand operation of all truck functions.

The standard torque converter transmission with electrohydraulic reversing allows fast and precise maneuvering while putting maximum torque to the drive wheels. With four forward and four reverse gears and shift-on-the-fly capabilities, no job is too large.
