Trivia Tuesday, Dec. 23
Last week's answer
Question: Which period sees the worst holiday traffic on U.S. roads?
Answer: The weekend before Christmas
Travelers heading to their Christmas destinations typically leave the weekend before the holiday, and begin flooding the interstates, making it the busiest travel period of the December holiday season. The week of Christmas sees a lot more drivers on the road than for the New Year's holiday. AAA recommends drivers to hit the roads after 9 p.m. on the Saturday before Christmas and before 11 a.m. on the Sunday before Christmas. The best time to travel for the Christmas holiday is on Christmas itself.
