Komatsu America Corp., Vernon Hills, Ill., has recently improved its excavator line with the introduction of the 242-hp PC300LC-7 Power Plus (Circle 903). The new design offers improved lift capacity and a more efficient use of bucket breakout forces. With additional upper frame reinforcement and increased counterweight mass, Komatsu has added 2,500 lb to the rear bias of the PC300LC-7 Power Plus for improved stability in all digging applications.

The new design offers improved lift capacity and a more efficient use of bucket breakout forces. With additional upper frame reinforcement and increased counterweight mass, Komatsu has added 2,500 lb to the rear bias of the PC300LC-7 Power Plus for improved stability in all digging applications. The excavator comes standard with Komatsu’s EMMS monitoring and diagnostic system, a feature that identifies current operating conditions, warns the operator of malfunction, tracks maintenance schedules and provides complete diagnostic assistance.
