Peter Wilson, senior vice president, Barriere Construction Co

Peter Wilson, senior vice president, Barriere Construction Co. L.L.C., has been elected chairman of the National Asphalt Pavement Association for 2003.

Other national officers serving with Wilson include Charles Potts, APAC Inc., Atlanta, Ga., first vice chairman; Richard Moore Jr., Lehman-Roberts Co., Memphis, Tenn., second vice chairman; James Roberts, Granite Construction Co., Watsonville, Calif., third vice chairman; Ronald White, Superior Paving Corp., Gainesville, Va., secretary; and Thomas Hill, Oldcastle Materials Group, Washington, D.C., treasurer.

Wilson's company is a third-generation family business in New Orleans, La. His NAPA activities have included serving as a member of the Executive Committee since 1997; a state director for Louisiana, 1991-96; and as chairman of the Convention Feedback Committee. He served on the National Center for Asphalt Technology (NCAT) Board of Directors, 1996-98; Associate Member Council, 1998-99; and is currently on the Board of Trustees of the NAPA Research and Education Foundation.
