In response to the devastation imposed upon the Gulf region by Hurricane Katrina, LBX Company, Lexington, Ky., in partnership with Sumitomo Construction Machinery, has donated $115,000 to the American Red Cross to assist in restoring normalcy to the lives, homes and workplaces of the region. This amount includes donations contributed by LBX employees and matched dollar-for-dollar by LBX.
Additionally, LBX would like to express sincere appreciation for the outpouring of care and concern for the well being of their Link-Belt dealers and customers in the Gulf Coast region. LBX is pleased to report that there has not been any major damage to their dealers in the region due to Hurricane Katrina and that Quest Construction Equip. LLC, Scott Construction Equipment, Mid-South Machinery, Inc. and NationsRent all report to be in good condition and ready to assist in reconstruction efforts.
