The American Road & Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA) and RAI Amsterdam have joined forces to create Intertraffic North America--the continent's first comprehensive conference and exposition for the transportation construction and traffic management industries.
The first biannual Intertraffic North America event will be held in September 2005. It will help fill an unmet need in the U.S. marketplace by bringing together all aspects of intelligent transportation systems, parking, traffic safety, control and management into one event.
"We are very pleased to offer this event to assist our transportation safety-related members expand their markets," said ARTBA President and CEO Pete Ruane. "Intertraffic North America will also help ARTBA bring the latest technologies and information to our members in the contracting, public official and other industry segments. This is a win-win event for the industry and our transportation system."
By organizing an Intertraffic exhibition in North America, the Amsterdam RAI adds an important new location to its portfolio. RAI's "Intertraffic Amsterdam" is the world's largest international trade fair in the design, management and maintenance of traffic and transport infrastructures, drawing 700 exhibitors and 25,000 attendees biannually from both private and public industry sectors.
RAI will be responsible for organization and oversight of Intertraffic North America's exhibition and ARTBA will be responsible for the conference and sponsorships.
