EPIROC USA MOVES HEADQUARTERS TO SUBURBAN DENVER TECHNOLOGY HUB
July 1, 2019—Epiroc has relocated its U.S. headquarters from Commerce City to Broomfield within the Denver, Colorado, metropolitan area. The company joins a dynamic business community in a tech corridor known as the “Rocky Mountain Silicon Valley.” The move to a technology hub is a natural one for Epiroc, a global company that provides innovative drill rigs, rock excavation and construction equipment, and tools, along with service products and solutions. Epiroc focuses on delivering world-class technology solutions for automation and interoperability. Epiroc’s headquarters is located at 8001 Arista Place, alongside notable neighbors from the technology, manufacturing and packaging sectors. The new space was built to embody who Epiroc is — innovative, focused and future-forward — and to enable the company to better facilitate customer events. Epiroc also expects the relocation to help with employee recruitment, provide better access to amenities, and offer transportation efficiency for more than 70 people who work at the location.
HCSS TO GIVE AWAY $50,000 IN SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2019 CONSTRUCTION INTERN AWARDS
July 1, 2019—Construction industry software developer, HCSS, is launching its fifth annual Construction Intern Awards scholarship program for college students in construction-related fields. The company will award $50,000 for 18 total scholarships, including a grand prize winner and three finalists, as well as 14 individual weekly online contest winners. The $10,000 grand prize Intern of the Year scholarship and three $4,000 Finalist scholarship winners will be announced in November. Student interns can earn up to one weekly scholarship and still be eligible to receive the grand prize Intern of the Year scholarship. DOOSAN PORTABLE POWER NAMES BOBCAT OF OMAHA AN AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR
June 26, 2019—Doosan Portable Power has named Bobcat of Omaha as an authorized distributor. The company will supply Doosan Portable Power air compressors, generators, light towers, and light compaction equipment throughout Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa. Bobcat of Omaha has been serving the construction, landscape and agriculture industries for over 30 years. They have a long-standing history with Doosan, offering Doosan heavy equipment since 2011 after they opened their new, full-service facility in October of 2010. They will service seven counties in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa, including Dodge, Washington, Harrison, Sarpy, Cass, Mills, and Pottawattamie.
BOMAG APPOINTS COLE RENKEN AS VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES & MARKETING

Renken will be responsible for developing and executing short and long-term growth strategies to better optimize the sales and customer support for BOMAG's dealer and rental channel partners. Renken brings 20-plus years of construction equipment sales, business development, and sales management experience to this position. Prior to joining BOMAG, he spent 10 years with Volvo Construction, with his most recent position as Director of Government and Key Accounts and prior responsibilities consisting of dealer development, regional sales, and product management. Additionally, Renken worked for CNH in dealer sales management, government and military sales, and marketing. Renken has a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State and an MBA from Marquette University.
DYNAPAC ANNOUNCES NEW VP OF SALES IN NORTH AMERICA
June 24, 2019—Dynapac North America has named Jamie Roush Vice President of Sales for North America. Effective July 1, Roush will lead the sales efforts for the complete Dynapac product portfolio across all sales channels throughout the region. Roush led Dynapac’s aftermarket efforts post Fayat acquisition developing and implementing new policies and procedures creating a structured technical service training program, regionalizing customer service to provide a personal level of support to Dynapac partners, lead the project to establish the new parts distribution warehouse, and launched the Dynapac’s 24-Hour Parts Guarantee. Roush earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Muskingum University in Ohio and attended Cleveland State University for graduate studies in mechanical engineering.
