Storm-Klear Gel-Floc

Oct. 8, 2011
Storm-Klear Gel-Floc is a fabric “sock” containing a dry form of chitosan, an organic coagulant/flocculants made from crab and shrimp shells. Gel-Floc represents a controlled dosing system for the passive treatment of turbid storm water requiring no metering pumps, injecton units or liquid chemical handling. Turbid water passes over the Gel-Floc unit and the product dissolves, continually treating the water. When the water stops, the Gel-Floc unit dehydrates and remains static until it gets wet again.
