Maine DOT to Begin Work on New Connector Road

Feb. 6, 2024
New connecting road will connect Gorham to I-95.

The Maine Turnpike Authority teamed up with the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) to announce a new road connecting Gorham to I-95.

The connecting road will run between Exit 45 on the Maine Turnpike and the Gorham Bypass of Route 114, south of Gorham Village.

The Maine Turnpike Authority says it has been working on plans for this connector for multiple years.

The connector's construction will be funded by toll revenue and will not require any taxpayer funds, according to the MTA.

The first public meeting about this project will be held in Gorham in March.
