Two of the Powerscreen products to be displayed at ConExpo-Con/Agg include the new Chieftain 1700 dry screen and the new Horizon 5163 scalping and screening plant. Both units set up ready to run in 30 minutes or less.

The new, highly mobile Powerscreen Horizon 5163 precision scalping and screening plant is designed to handle materials up to 10 in. and can produce up to 600 tons per hour of high-specification products (such as for concrete and roadbuilding/paving) with materials such as natural and crushed aggregates, crushed and recycled concrete and asphalt, coal and iron ore.

It also works well in closed-circuit primary, secondary and tertiary crushing setups to achieve high tonnages of fine-sized product, meeting strict specifications. The new, highly mobile, two- and three-deck Powerscreen Chieftain 1700 can separate up to six products and is specifically designed to fit into the midrange bracket between the Chieftain 1400 and 2100 models. The 1700’s adjustable high-amplitude, two-bearing screen action exposes material to varying amplitudes and g-forces to help separate the material into the various required specifications. The hydraulic screen angle adjustment varies the material travel rate over the screen deck to provide the cleanest product in the most difficult applications.
