The new 1,000 X 650 track XR400 is Terex Pegson’s new-generation hydraulic-release jaw plant, featuring the M Series single toggle design. This jaw plant provides hydraulic overload protection, high throughput, excellent reduction capability and greater protection against damage from tramp iron and rebar feed. The aggressive, high-swing jaw also can accept large feed. The machine settings can quickly change with no drawback rod adjustment. The XR400 features a hydraulic folding feed hopper for easy setup and excellent under-crusher access with an underscreen feeder option. A self-supporting hydraulic folding feed hopper with a wedgelock system enables easy setup. An improved and more rugged single electrical control system is used for the plant and engine. The hydraulic raise/lower on the product conveyor gives greater access for rebar removal. Some standard equipment includes a side dirt conveyor, overband magnetic separator and a radio remote control.
