Yanmar Construction Equipment Division has introduced a new angle blade (Circle 909) as a factory-installed option for the ViO55-5. The new angle blade is designed with long-term reliability in mind. The optional moldboard extensions do several things to increase operator productivity, such as extend the width of the blade so the tracks of the machine do not immediately run over the dirt spoils; and when filling a trench, they allow the excavator tracks to be farther away from the trench wall, helping to prevent the wall from caving in and causing a rollover. The angle blade operation lever also has a float position with detent so the operator can choose between operating the blade in float or with fixed position.
