TAKEUCHI ANNOUNCES WESTERN TRI STATE EQUIPMENT AS NEW DEALER

June 13, 2019—Takeuchi-US has announced Western Tri State Equipment as a new dealer. Western Tri State Equipment, a division of Mesquite Ace Lumber, is located in Mesquite, Nevada and provides sales, service, parts, and rental to customers throughout Southern Nevada, Southern Utah, and Northwest Arizona. Mesquite Ace Lumber Hardware, established in 1987, offers construction rentals, garden and patio, electrical, building supplies and hardware. Over the last few years, the dealer has had rising requests for compact equipment to purchase and rent. The addition of Takeuchi equipment will fill the void. The new dealer will carry the full lineup of Takeuchi products, including excavators, skid steer loaders, track loaders, and wheel loaders, in addition to stocking parts and performing equipment repair.

WSB EXPANDS C-SUITE, OPENS AUSTIN, TEXAS OFFICE TO ACCOMODATE RECENT GROWTH

June 17, 2019—Fast-growing Minneapolis engineering firm WSB has expanded its leadership team and opened an office in Austin, Texas this week, to accommodate significant growth in recent years. The company has grown 38% since 2015, and has added a chief financial officer, vice president of marketing and communications, and corporate counsel in the last year. Most recently, WSB named Jon Chiglo the company’s first-ever chief operating officer. Chiglo, who also leads WSB’s transportation division, will help grow the business through new efficiencies and opportunities.

WSP USA WELCOMES NEW LEADERSHIP IN SOUTHEAST REGION

June 14, 2019—WSP USA, a leading engineering and professional services consultancy, announced four hires and promotions in the Southeast region. Michael Kirk was named the Southeast regional alternative delivery manager. Kirk provides alternative delivery advisory services for design-build and public-private partnership projects. Brock LaForty was named Southeast regional business development director, where he is responsible for driving business development strategy and identifying growth opportunities within new and existing markets. Jennifer Recchie joins the Orlando, Florida office as Southeast regional marketing manager, where she will provide leadership to the staff and drive the processes for high quality submittals, presentations, market research, and status reporting. Mike Surasky was named Southeast regional operations manager, where he will be responsible for assisting the firm’s regional business manager on operational matters. Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Surasky will provide performance oversight and resource management for the firm’s Technical Excellence Centers in the region and collaborate with area managers on operational aspects of the business.
