TAKEUCHI ANNOUNCES PARMAN TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT AS NEW DEALER SERVING TENNESSEE

June 11, 2019—Takeuchi-US has announced Parman Tractor & Equipment as a new dealer. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, they will provide sales, service, parts, and rental to customers throughout Tennessee. In April, Parman Holdings Corp. acquired Cumberland Tractor & Equipment. Before this transaction, Parman had exclusively been a petroleum products distribution company. For this endeavor, plans are to retain the entire sales, service, and parts departments from Cumberland Tractor & Equipment to leverage the years of experience and knowledge from the current employees. In addition, a new facility, which will be 20,000 sq ft and have 14 bays, is in the initial stages of construction. Completion is scheduled for later this year. The new dealer will carry the full lineup of Takeuchi products, including excavators, skid steer loaders, track loaders, and wheel loaders, in addition to stocking parts and performing equipment repair.

GOMACO APPOINTS YANCEY BROS. CO. AS NEW DISTRIBUTOR FOR GEORGIA

June 13, 2019—GOMACO Corporation announces the recent appointment of Yancey Bros. Co. as the authorized GOMACO distributor for the state of Georgia. They will provide sales and service for GOMACO’s full line of concrete construction products. The appointment was made by Kent Godbersen, Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing, GOMACO Corporation. Vinnie Miller is GOMACO’s District Manager for Georgia. GOMACO Corp. is the worldwide leader in concrete construction equipment with headquarters in Ida Grove, Iowa. GOMACO equipment will slipform concrete streets and highways, airport runways, curb and gutter, sidewalks and recreational trails, safety barrier, bridge parapet, and irrigation canals.

HARPAL KAPOOR JOINS HDR AS TRANSIT VEHICLE PRACTICE LEAD

June 10, 2019—Harpal Kapoor has joined HDR as a senior program manager and transit vehicle practice lead, covering national and global markets. Based in Vienna, Virginia, Kapoor will oversee the planning and design of clients’ transit programs, facilities and systems, and will serve as a senior program manager for major transit projects in coordination with HDR's transit leadership. Widely respected for his more than 35 years in the industry, Kapoor has led all phases of transit system development and operations, and has spearheaded long- and short-term strategic plans for bus and rail operations, maintenance, capital programs, and engineering. His previous positions include serving as the general manager of Miami-Dade Transit in Florida, and managerial and consulting engineering roles with Washington Metro.
