bauma 2010 features more than a half million square meters (5,382,131 sq ft) of exhibition space, making it by far the largest and certainly the most impressive exhibition ever. 3,002 exhibitors from 49 countries made bauma 2007 a major event for the construction industry. Given this backdrop, it is not surprising that there was also a considerable increase in the number of visitors – up 20% to more than a half million decision-makers and other interested visitors from 191 countries. The number of international visitors increased by 35% to more than 155,000.
