Wave equation analysis

July 27, 2021

GRLWEAP14 wave equation analysis, used with the Pile Driving Analyzer (PDA), simulates motions and forces in a foundation pile when driven by an impact or vibratory hammer. GRLWEAP14 helps increase the accuracy of predicted stresses, bearing capacities, blow counts, and installation time. Its newest innovations feature static geotechnical analysis tools including methods based on soil type, SPT or CPT information, and API method, as well as Residual Stress Analysis, and variable toe area input for consideration of selected soil layers.
