The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) put into action a $475 million project to alleviate congestion in and out of the city of Chicago. Roads & Bridges visited the construction site as crews were working on one of the most crucial phases, a $56 million flyover bridge connecting the northbound I-90-94 Dan Ryan to the westbound I-290 Eisenhower Expressway.
