The SL 6000 was designed to accomplish three goals: provide a tool that customers could use to make a variety of picks, provide a tool that could be transported and erected easily on any continent in the world and provide the above at a great value.

The SL 6000 has three different main configurations: standard—490 ton, heavy lift—405 ton (with mast) and super heavy lift—600 ton (with mast and tray). The SL6000 has all lifting drums mounted in the base section, which reduces machine weight. The boom hoist drum is mounted in the mast, so if the customer elects to remove the mast it does not need to be re-reeved.
