The Michigan Concrete Association announced that Ron Lammy II was elected the new chairman of its Board of Directors. Lammy also is president of Modern Concrete, Flint, Mich. The MCA also announced the election of three new directors to its board: Mike Dukes, vice president of Doan Cos.; Reg Klooster, general manager of Grand Rapids Gravel; and Tony Rotondo, owner of Rotondo Brothers Concrete.
Lammy has been an active member of the MCA since 1984. Prior to his election as chairman, he served on the Executive Board.
"I would like to see the association continue to add new members during these difficult economic times by increasing awareness of the financial and business benefits that MCA membership provides," said Lammy.
