    BOMAG has designed its articulated BMP 8500 multipurpose compactor to include a variety of features that deliver versatility and performance. Contractors familiar with the current BMP 851 compactor will first notice the smooth lines of the robust hoods and the detachable drum extensions, but what is underneath really makes the difference. Powered by a 19.4-hp Kubota diesel engine, the articulated design BMP 8500 produces high compaction output via dual exciters and directed centrifugal force.
