Manhole riser

Our Inclined Pivoted Turnbuckle Manhole Riser allows you to not only raise the lid, but also to tilt the lid to match the new crown in the road. Edge milling operations remove asphalt at the curb, but do not in the middle of the road causing the crown in the road to increase. Our Inclined riser eliminates digging up the frame and resetting it to match the new crown of the road. This method reduces cost, material, liability and time. When installed, its unique pivoted turnbuckle linkage ensures a pressed-in bearing fit.

When installed, its unique pivoted turnbuckle linkage ensures a pressed-in bearing fit. The pivoted linkage will contract and expand ½ in., thus allowing the flexibility to work on different diameters. Riser heights start at 1 ½ in. and go up in ¼-in. increments.
