Session 1: Advancing the Cause of Road Resiliency

To be presented live, and include a Q&A session, “Advancing the Cause of Road Resiliency” will address how to accelerate progress in the development of more resilient American roadways. Panelists include leaders from civil engineering, road products and pavement testing facilities.

They’ll share insights and discuss key questions:

“What can government agencies do right now to effectively improve the resiliency of North American roads?”
“What innovative materials and methods already exist to foster road resiliency and what’s next?”

Viewers will learn:

  • How the issue of resiliency is currently impacting American road building
  • Which performance metrics best demonstrate what “good” resiliency looks like
  • New materials and methods for building resiliency and ways to accelerate adoption
  • How to understand the relative role of government agencies versus commercial organizations in fostering the development of more resilient roads

This webinar will include a question and answer session, and will also offer one Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit to viewers who complete the approximately one hour program.

Session 2: Road Recycling Construction Processes: Financial & Environmental Benefits

Road owners today are in a precarious position: Their pavement structures are showing severe fatigue requiring action but most are faced with budget constraints or shortfalls. Pavement recycling processes are the tools the construction industry is turning to in order to build higher performing pavements, execute it quicker with green methods, all while stretching the limited budgets.

This webinar will describe the benefits of recycling along with exploring the full-depth and cold in-place recycling processes. Case studies of completed road recycling projects will be offered by two contractors joining the panel.

This webinar will include a question and answer session, and will also offer one Professional Development Hour (PDH) credit to viewers who complete the approximately one hour program.
