Bidtek changes name

Bidtek, a construction software company that has provided management solutions to construction firms since 1976, has changed its name to Viewpoint Construction Software.
Viewpoint President Myrna Hostetler announced the name change with a national marketing campaign to the construction industry.
"We adopted the Bidtek name in the early 1980s to emphasize our unique product offering of integrated estimating and accounting software. However, that name placed so much emphasis on bidding that many people didn't understand our focus, which is integrated accounting, operations and project management software for midrange and large construction companies."
