The four sponsoring organizations of the ConExpo-Con/Agg 2002 international exposition have joined together to declare the week of March 17-23 as "National Construction and Construction Materials Week." Using the three-year show as a benchmark, the co-sponsors--the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association (NRMCA), The National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association (NSSGA) and the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC)--want to call attention to the enormous size and scope of the industry, as well as the contributions of its workforce to the economic prosperity, quality of life and environmental integrity of our nation and the world.

More than 100,000 visitors are expected to attend ConExpo-Con/Agg 2002, which will cover a record 1.8 million net sq ft of exhibit space taken by 2,000 exhibiting companies. ConExpo-Con/Agg also will feature the national conventions of NRMCA, NSSGA, AGC and six other leading trade organizations, as well as some 300 on-site industry meetings.
