Nearly 100 bridges in Michigan, many of which cross over some of the state’s busiest highways and roads, need critical repairs immediately, reported WILX, the NBC affiliate in Lansing, Mich.
The annual report from MDOT listed 97 bridges that are either “structurally deficient” or “functionally obsolete,” meaning they either need repairs now or are outdated.
"It's a little scary," said Lansing resident Tiana Hawver. "It's something you don't want to be thinking about as you're driving over bridges we have in the area."
