Roads & Bridges to host panel at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026
When Roads & Bridges covers a convention, our editorial team interviews the experts and thought leaders who are shaping the industry.
When CONEXPO-CON/AGG returns to the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 3-7, Roads & Bridges’ editorial mission will deliver as usual, but with a new twist: hosting a panel of industry experts on stage in our booth.
At 1: 30 p.m., on Wednesday, March 4, we will host a panel titled, “Bridging the Future: Technology, Strategy, and Innovation in Roads & Bridges.”
The panel will be held in our booth in the Grand Lobby — GL20803. It will be hosted by Gavin Jenkins, Roads & Bridges’ senior managing editor, and his guests will include Ed Shappell, vice president of strategy and technology at WSB, Kevin Garcia, general manager of civil specialty solutions at Trimble, and Aaron Chamberlin, who is Area 4 Director at U.S. HEEP.
The panel will discuss the complexity of connected infrastructure projects, the tools that are used to execute a digital jobsite, managing the human side of technology, return on investment, and the road ahead.
Roads & Bridges’ panel is just one of many attractions at CONEXPO. North America’s largest construction will showcase the future of the construction and aggregates industry.
Held every three years, CONEXPO-CON/AGG continues to grow with each cycle, welcoming hundreds of thousands of industry professionals for five days of exhibitions, education and networking focused on innovation, technology and connection.
Roads & Bridges is among one of more than 2,000 exhibitors spanning 2.9 million square-feet of event space.
Across the show floor, exhibitors will roll out product showcases and live demonstrations designed to attract every corner of the construction industry, with equipment displays and demonstrations from every major equipment company in the industry.
This year’s show introduces several new experiences designed to enhance education, engagement and networking, including new stages, workshops and dedicated collaboration spaces.
One of the newest additions, The Ground Breakers Stage, will spotlight the leaders, policies and technologies shaping the future of construction. Programming throughout the week includes sessions such as “AI at Work,” which explores the impact of artificial intelligence on productivity and jobsite safety, “The New Sustainability Playbook,” focused on the industry’s shift toward greener building practices, and “Smarter Tools, Smarter Sites,” highlighting how connected systems are transforming construction operations.
For attendees looking to step away from the bustle of the show floor, the new Community Zone offers a space for collaboration and relaxation. Located near the Festival Grounds entrance, the area will feature live podcast recordings, informal presentations and conversations with industry leaders in a more casual setting.
Several new workshops are also debuting this year. “Shop Talks & Walks” provides hands-on training focused on preventative maintenance, fleet efficiency and real-world equipment solutions. The “Small Business Workshop” focuses on practical strategies to help small and family-owned companies scale their operations and expand their industry connections.
The “EmpowerHER Workshop,” organized in recognition of Women in Construction Week, which runs the first full week in March alongside the trade show, aims to foster mentorship, connection and inspiration among women in the industry.
Education sessions will cover the full spectrum of today’s construction industry, from core disciplines like asphalt production and heavy equipment to emerging priorities such as workforce development and digital transformation. Attendees can choose from education tracks focused on materials and equipment — including aggregates, asphalt, cranes and rigging, and earthmoving and site development — as well as business- and strategy-driven tracks centered on sustainability, workforce and technology solutions.
Executives from some of the industry’s most influential companies, including Caterpillar, John Deere and AWS, will deliver keynote addresses throughout the show.
Networking continues after hours with CONEXPO-CON/AGG After Dark, a three-night series of exclusive evening events. The series kicks off Tuesday, March 3, with a kickoff party at Atomic Golf, featuring live music, an open bar and interactive golf bays. Wednesday night offers a beer tasting experience with curated selections and a DJ, followed by a Thursday nightlife experience at one of Las Vegas’ premiere clubs. Packages range from $59 for the golf night to $229 for access to all three nights.
For those eager to stay connected ahead of the show, the CONEXPO-CON/AGG podcast offers year-round conversations, featuring industry storytelling and discussions on the trends shaping the industry today.
Roads & Bridges looks forward to seeing you there. Please stop by our booth in the Grand Lobby — GL20803 — and say hello.
