Cambridge truss bridge

March 24, 2014

The Village of Barboursville, W.Va., was scheduled to host the U.S. Youth Soccer Association Tournament, which involved more than 4,500 teenagers. A U.S. Bridge galvanized, all-bolted Cambridge truss bridge was installed, along with a 5-ft exterior sidewalk to link the soccer fields on both sides of a railway line. Floor beams were raised into the structure, allowing the required railway clearance while preventing the need for additional approach road grading.
