BridgeGuard is an innovative infrared bridge scoping service used to identify and locate defects in decks and substructures. Reports are delivered in MicroStation or AutoCAD formats indicating the various defect types including delaminations, cracks and spalls along with their locations, allowing bridge owners to evaluate, prioritize and apply appropriate asset management protocol. Lane closures, commerce delays and road user costs are minimized if not eliminated because scanning is completed at speeds up to 50 mph.
