Better marking through chemistry

June 20, 2005

The latest technology in methacrylate chemistry goes into the Degaroute road-marking products from Degussa Corp., Piscataway, N.J. Use of methacrylate means that no heat is required to apply Degaroute markings. Curing times are adjustable for optimal application over a wide temperature range, extending striping seasons. Degaroute provides excellent adhesion to asphalt and concrete road surfaces and excellent bead retention. A variety of application methods is possible, including extrusion and spray.
