The BW 284 AD is BOMAG’s largest vibratory tandem roller model. The 84-in. drum width, 54-in. drum diameter and 4,000 vpm frequency ideally suit this compactor for mainline highway construction. High production rates as well as smoothness and density bonuses are easily attained and passes minimized due to the high level of drum output power. Dual-facing seats and joystick controls provide the operator with efficient command over the low-profile frame.
