The Geopier® Intermediate Foundation System is used to reinforce weak and compressible soils to support transportation structures. Rammed Aggregate PiersTM (RAPs) are installed using vertical impact ramming energy, which results in RAPs of unsurpassed strength and stiffness. This resulting strength and stiffness provides stability and bearing capacity - that coupled with radial drainage to the RAPs, they can also reduce settlement magnitude and duration.
