Road and bridge construction jobs outpacing rest of construction world

A recent statement from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed some promising numbers
According to a report by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, U.S. highway, street, and bridge contractors posted a total employment of 396,000 in June, a 3.3% increase from the same time a year ago.
The category of road and bridge contractors has now experienced four consecutive May months of job growth.
Employment in the overall construction industry continues to grow year-to-date, but remains some 190,000 short of the 7,687,000 employed 12 years ago, just prior to the Great Recession.
