Parsons Brinckerhoff wins I-75 job

The southern limit to the project is I-75 at the Auglaize County line, and the northern limit is I-75 just north of the Stewart Road overpass. Called the Allen 75 project, the effort has been identified on the regional Transportation Improvement Plan and Statewide Transportation Improvement Plan, and is a candidate for the state's multi-lane reconstruction program. Currently, typical sections of I-75 within the project corridor exhibit numerous geometric deficiencies and inadequate pavement performance.

As the prime consultant on the project, PB is responsible for determining the need for additional capacity, developing a plan for reconstructing the existing four-lane interstate freeway to meet current design standards and for reconstructing/reconfiguring the five existing interchanges within the 10-mile interstate corridor. The process will involve planning studies, public involvement, traffic studies, conceptual alternative development, strategic plan development, refinement of feasible and preferred alternatives, environmental document preparation, preliminary engineering and final design.
