For the first time, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) will offer a "Best Practices in Equipment Training" track at its annual customer support/customer services seminar.
The one-day training track will be held at the Scottsdale Radisson, Scottsdale, Ariz., on Nov. 11, 2003, during the AEM Customer Support Seminar co-hosted by the National Association of Service Managers.
"A day-long session created for training professionals will help them function more effectively and addresses the important role they play in their companies' success in the marketplace," said AEM Education Manager Heide Kraus.
Details and online registration forms are available on the AEM website (www.aem.org/Education/ConfSems/CSC/Training.asp).
Training track topics will cover all aspects of equipment training: parts, service, operator, dealer/distributor and sales. Equipment training "best practice" case studies and roundtable discussions by leading practitioners will be featured to benefit attendees of all experience levels as well as those from companies of all sizes. Presenters will represent some of the well-known names in the equipment and training industries such as Komatsu America, Volvo Construction Equipment, Link-Belt Construction Equipment, Deere & Co., Industrial Training Zone, ClickSafety and ACT, with manufacturers providing insights gained from their company experiences and training professionals addressing off-the-shelf, web-based training modules.
