The Ohio Concrete Construction Association has awarded a 2002 Excellence in Concrete Paving Award to Dick Corp., Large, Pa.

The award-winning project featured the creation of a new interchange directly linking I-77 and the Ohio Turnpike in Richfield, Ohio. The contract has received recognition at both the state and national levels in the Urban Arterials & Collectors category.

The Ohio Concrete Construction Association cosponsors the annual award, which recognizes excellence in concrete pavement work performed by contractors, engineers, ready-mix producers and owner/sponsors.

Dick Corp. is currently serving as construction manager for the $700 million Third Lane Widening project on the Ohio Turnpike. Currently 85% complete, the job will add a third lane for traffic to a 160-mile section of the turnpike stretching from Youngstown to Toledo, Ohio.
