Case Construction Equipment has introduced the PT240 pneumatic-tire compactor, an eight-wheeled machine designed for rolling hot-mix asphalt surface treatments. As the first pneumatic-tire compactor offered by Case, the PT240 represents a major expansion of the Case compaction product line. With a turbocharged engine rated at 99 hp, the Case PT240 pneumatic-tire compactor features standard hydrostatic steering, independent axles, a four-plus-four tire configuration with 2-in. tire overlap, and automotive style controls with left- and right-side operating positions.
