Case introduces its first pneumatic-tire compactor, the PT240, which is designed for use with HMA surface treatment and soil-stabilization applications. Adaptability is the key on this eight-wheeled machine, with features like four-plus-four tire configuration, floating and oscillating front axles for compaction on uneven surfaces and the ability to adjust the ballasted operating weight. The PT240 can operate on grades up to 25° and on surface materials with a higher rolling resistance. Compaction width is 78 in.
