Summary

This session will focus on the wide variety of material options to assist in repairing and preserving our infrastructure. First, we'll discuss the assessment of overall bridge deck "health", to help guide material selection. As the session progresses, we will move through the "tiers" of repair and preservation products, how they compare to each other, and how these products are positioned in the marketplace. The goal of this session will be to provide a deeper understanding of what these materials can do for our infrastructure and how they can be used properly, and to help clarify the positioning of different types of products in the vast and sometimes overwhelming marketplace.
