The stories in this newsletter are rather neatly divided into camps that talk of promise and threat. On the promise side of the ledger sit an ambitious federal program eyeing upgrades to existing infrastructure corridors as well as progress with hydrogen engines that could translate to construction sites. Threats? That would be a lack of progress on potential PFAS regulations, the prospect of nefarious AI and the growing need for labor to feed the data center boom.
