The operator’s environment has been substantially upgraded, giving operators more room where they really need it and plenty of space for big site boots to work without restriction.

In-cab noise levels are reduced thanks to the low-revving engine, the redesign of the cooling system and the pressurized, insulated cab itself, which blocks sound. The enhanced suspension system surpasses emerging cab vibration requirements, reducing operator fatigue and whole body vibration. The 14-vent electronic climate control comforts the body with a high-capacity heating and cooling ventilation system.

Volvo made the C-series easier on the environment, too, since 95% of a C-series excavator can be recycled. External sound levels also are greatly reduced, and external paint is lead-free.

The optional CareTrack GPS monitoring system allows users to set machine usage limits and track machine location, fuel usage and hours of operation from their computers.
