    Ultra-thin whitetop

    CEMEX produced concrete that achieved 450 psi flexural (3.1 MPa) strength in 3 1/2 hours. The pavement was opened to truck traffic four hours after concrete placement. The project was completed in one day and minimized the closure of the entrance to Fairplex. Thanks to CEMEX and the project team, the Los Angeles County Fair facility was back in business.
