Two of Stone Construction Equipment Inc.'s products were recently named to Rental Management's Hot List, published of for the American Rental Association's Rental Show held in February. Named to the list were the new Reversible Plate, model RP1130, and the new lightweight Smooth Operator Power Trowel - CF36L.
The 11,000-lb RP1130 reversible plate compactor, introduced in late 2006, features a patented three-shaft eccentric system that delivers optimum force, a lower center of gravity and larger amplitude for better compaction and climbing ability. The plate's combination of 11,240 lb of impact force with speeds up to 72 ft per minute delivers maximum productivity of more than 8,500 sq ft per hour.
Weighing 23 lb less than the standard 36-in. Stone trowel, the CF36L is easier to carry down steps and ideal for applications where the concrete has not cured enough to support a heavier trowel. The CF36L, introduced late in 2006, contains all the patented features of the rest of the Smooth Operator line including the DynaClutch safety system and the ProPitch blade adjustment system. Both products were on display at Stone's Rental Show booth.
