Shanahan Equipment Co., San Leandro, Calif., has announced the expansion of its facilities to include a new location in Reno, Nev., bringing the number of company locations to seven. Shanahan Equipment distributes construction, mining and utility equipment through its existing facilities in northern and central California and is the authorized distributor for Komatsu equipment in this area.
“Because of the construction boom throughout Nevada, the demand for equipment has increased,” said Gale Plummer, vice president and general manager of Shanahan Equipment. “We are pleased to be part of Nevada’s growth with our new facility.”
The Reno branch is a full-service location, providing new and rental machines, an extensive parts inventory, factory-trained technicians and field services with fully equipped trucks.
