Link-Belt Construction Equipment Co., Lexington, Ky., introduces the RTC-8060 Series II, a 60-ton telescopic rough-terrain crane which has a completely new operator’s station and a fully rigged transport weight of less than 90,000 lb. The RTC-8060 Series II features a 225-hp Caterpillar 3226B engine, coupled to a direct-mount Spicer’s power-shift transmission with six forward and six reverse speeds. A 4-Link Suspension with Hydro-gas Ride greatly reduces the inherent bouncing at medium speeds and significantly improves handling and maneuverability in both on- and off- road conditions.
