Maintaining the roads, highways and bridges across Ontario is a demanding, full-time job. That’s why Carillion Canada’s joint venture subsidiary TWD Roads Management Inc. relies on its dependable fleet of Sterling trucks to make sure each project gets done well and on time.
Currently running close to 200 Sterling L-Line trucks, TWD Roads Management is responsible for maintaining more than 6,200 miles of single-lane highway in Ontario. Depending on the season and need at hand, the Sterling trucks are used in snowplow, dump and general road maintenance applications.

A growing company, TWD Roads Management has been purchasing Sterling L-Line trucks for the past two years and is currently in the process of negotiating a new order of trucks for 2006. Specs include tandem- and single-axle configurations and Caterpillar C7 and Mercedes-Benz MBE900 diesel engines.

To round out its offerings for the construction industry, Sterling also features the medium-duty Acterra, the low cab-over-engine Condor and the unique Cargo models, which are all designed for the demands of building and maintaining North America’s roads and bridges.
