Pervious concrete additive

Momentive Specialty Chemicals has released a new pervious concrete additive that eliminates the need for plastic sheeting after placement while optimizing the mix void structure for quick drainage. HexiCrete pervious concrete (PC) 350 works by enhancing the bond between the cement paste and aggregate, increasing compressive strength and achieving density with less compactive screed effort. Combined with a HexiCrete curing compound, HexiCrete (PC) 350 also saves time, labor and installation costs by increasing water retention in the mix, making visqueen a thing of the past.
