Gehl Co. Chairman William Gehl has announced that the company Board of Directors has elected Malcolm Moore as president and chief operating officer. Moore joined the company in August of 1999 as executive vice president and chief operating officer. Prior to that he served as president and chief executive officers of Pangborn Corp., Hagerstown, Md.
In his new position, Moore will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the West Bend, Wis., company, including its three manufacturing sites in West Bend, Madison, S.D. and Yankton, S.D.
"Mac has demonstrated his leadership abilities by assembling an excellent team of managers carrying out the difficult task of closing two plants, helping to build a new business for the company as well as managing the day-to-day operations of the business," said Gehl.
