Be careful when you cross the street in Philadelphia, Phoenix or Tulsa. The three cities hold six of the top 10 most dangerous intersections in the U.S. The list factors in the number of accidents and injuries annually.
State Farm Insurance released the ranking, which has Philadelphia's Roosevelt Boulevard holding the No. 2 (Red Lion Road) and No. 3 (Grant Avenue) accident-prone intersections. This year's champion is Flamingo Road and Pine Boulevard, which is located in Pembroke Pines, Fla. Phoenix comes in at four (7th Street and Bell Road) and seven (19th Avenue and Northern Avenue). Tulsa's Memorial Drive is at No. 5 (51st Street) and No. 6 (71st Street). Filling out the top 10 were State Highway 121 and Preston Road, Frisco, Tex.; Clearview Parkway and Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, La.; and Fair Oaks Boulevard and Howe Avenue, Sacramento, Calif.
