Frost fighter

Printer-friendly version

Combating condensation that can collect in air-powered tools and freeze if the tools are left on a jobsite overnight, Kilfrost from Keystone Lubricants, Linden, N.J., provides lubrication to the tool and also absorbs air-line moisture. Kilfrost liquid lowers the freezing point of condensation ad keeps the tool ready to operate the morning after a freeze. According to Keystone, kilfrost is good for other things too, such as preventing corrosion and preventing dieseling in rock drills. Kilfrost is semi-synthetic, nontoxic, nonflammable, and non-corrosive.
